Welcome to the Candlewood Camera Club

Since 2005, the members of the Candlewood Camera Club have selected a photograph depicting patriotism. The winning photograph would then be given to the VFW Hall to be hung in their meeting hall.

The first photograph to win is of the Viet Nam War Memorial in Washington, DC, taken by Bill Snellings of Ridgefield, CT.

The second photograph winner is of the Korean War Memorial in Washington, DC, taken by Jean Kavanek of Bridgewater, CT

The third photograph winner is of a memorial in Newtown, CT to nine men killed on September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center. It was taken by Carol Gibson of Bethel, CT.
